blog rules and goals

I have one goal on this blog which is to teach people how to cook one recipe at a time...and start a food trend. "Grapeberries" and "Rectangular Cake Prisms" haven't taken off yet..."mom twenty more minutes I need to finish this!" Okay so as you can see I don't have a lot of time. I need to make this short and sweet, and of course, always with some of that Chow Creations humor. I think I'll make a shortbread. (Bad pun). And yes I still live with my mom. Which reminds me, there are rules when you are on this site. Rule #1, "No Judging". You don't judge me and I don't judge your freakshow of a sixth toe. That's right, I know about it.

Chow Creations began as a blog where I posted just desserts with the goal of helping complete strangers impress their dates, family, and friends with mind blowing, soul crushing, belly bursting confections. However, as it grew, so did our repertoire. Now we have everything from Marrow on Toast, to How to Fold a Chinese Dumpling 鍋貼. My true love in this world is cooking, but when I really look at it, cooking is no fun unless you are making it for the people that you love. So that's where rule #2 comes in, It's a sin to eat a whole cake by yourself, "Always Share"... a slice of your cake before you eat it all.

You can be confident that every Chow Creation is 100% delicious, tested, and easy because think about it, if I can make it, so can you.

Sometimes I think I write this blog just to give me an excuse to eat what I make, but really it's all for you. (Not really). But in all seriousness every couple of days I post a new Chow Creation to satisfy, quench, and feed the food monsters that are within all of us. Meet me in the comments and suggest what you'd like me to make. And as always,

Chow!
